I have been using Notepad++ to edit HTML. It is not as simple as regular Notepad, however it is not much more complicated than Notepad either. It's a great way to start editing and learning the process. I will update if I find something more suitable!

Maybe you can try using Eclipse, is open source. is a WYSIWYG but you can write code without the graphic part!
is not Dreamweaver but it does the trick.
